So with a few of our scouts missing this evening (as they are doing their Sats) we started the evening with a wide game outside called Blind folded retriever, the idea of the game is that they worked in patrols to guide each other to gather items that we had placed out for them, it was not so much as a competition but to get them to work together as a patrol and part of a team, I am sure that a few of them did not have their blindfolds on properly as they seemed to know exactly where the items were place and it was not from the directions that the rest of the patrol were giving them as they were all shout too much to hear each other.......lol
Our Scout of the Month & Patrol of the month were also announced these were our New Senior Patrol leader Michael & New Patrol Leader Ben who have both stood out this month, Ben has only just taken over as patrol leader for the Lions and our decision for making him patrol leader was his natural leadership qualities, and Michael was because we felt that he always offers to help with anything that we ask, and he has also embraced his new role as Senior Patrol Leader
