This even a select few of us went off geocaching around Barton, there are only 3 in the village that we are aware of we met at Unity Hall and our journey started off taking us towards St Nicholas' church, there is a multi point geocache in the ground but for love nor money could any of us find the illusive first part......after about 40 minutes we gave up as DNF (did not find) and went in search of the next one this was a hike up the caves and with a lot of searching and re reading the clue Big Brandon found it. we all signed our names and re hid it for the next geocache-r to find. Then a stroll back down the hill back to HQ, sadly the scouts did not have time to place the geocache that we had made so Jason Liam & I hid it, so Barton Scouts now have there own geocache for the world to find I must remember to check it as I have put a few scout badges in there so people have a memento of our find.
