Games Night & Christmas Tree Festival

So this evening was opened with a PL & APL leader meeting, Jason chaired the meeting where he went over the discussion of the last meeting and discussed with the Scouts what they wanted to do in the next term, we are very keen on letting the scouts also lead meetings, beside the fact that it helps with their leadership skills #skillsforlife , they also do things that interest them and their patrols.

While the meeting was on the rest of the scouts played games in the hall Centurions and Romans however it seemed to be called Centurions and Cannibals :) not sure why!! :)

Novembers Scout of the Month was Harry

Well done Harry, he was also our wreath bearer at the 100th Anniversary Remembrance Parade

And Patrol of the Month was Lions. well done!

This weekend we also entered the Christmas Tree festival that the village hold at St Nicholas's Church, we did not place but it was our first year and we were up against some stiff competition The winner was Message in a bottle, done by Orchard School. My personal favorite other than ours was the Bee's that were next to us.

We will have to get our thinking caps on for next year!

Well don to all that organised it and took part and thank you to everyone that took the time to vote
