So this evening we split the troop into two, Lions & Falcons were meeting at the Raven in Hexton & Stags & Cobras were meeting at HQ.
Andrea, Keith, Ian & Emma along with Liam & Michael our young leaders were on the hike with Lion & Falcon Patrol.
Now when a few of the leaders did the hike on Sunday it was light, and bright but today the sun had gone down and it was dark so we set off the hike we were following the famous John Bunyan trail, the hike back to HQ took us approximately 45 minutes so a hike. When we got back to the Scout HQ we a fire that Josiah & Jason had burning for us and we had hot dogs & s'mores (these are marshmallows cooked on an open fire and squashed between two chocolate biscuits)
Whilst all this was going on Jason, Ken, Helen, Paul & Nick were doing archery with the two remaining patrols Helen said that there was some really good archers in the group this evening and a few bulls-eye's were got by Lily & Nick & our new Scout Aaron managed to pop a balloon on the target too.
Next week we do it all again just the other way around
