So this evening was our last meeting before Easter & Camp this weekend, and we decided that it would be about fun
We played loads of new and exciting games .....none of which are dodge ball ( I hate dodgeball!)
One of the games was to move across the hall standing on chairs, I suppose a bit like a catapiller... through the hoop and back. loads of points were being scored in this game. The noise and buzz was electrifying the PL's were out with a couple of the leaders getting the camp stuff sorted for the weekend.
Next we played Rock Paper Scissors but with a difference, we had seen this fast fun game played when we helped at cubs one evening and so we left two of our newest members to explain what to do.....well done guys I think everyone loved this one.
the next game that we played was Jacobs ladder now the idea is 2 scouts sit feet to feet to create a ladder a leader gives each pair a number and the have to jump over the legs round the outside and over the legs till they get back to their place. Emma couldn't keep up as by the end of the game there were 4 or 5 pairs of scouts jumping legs.......ha ha ha great fun
We finished the evening with investing Emma as an assistant leader and handing out a small present from the leaders by ways of an Easter egg for each Scout.
I do hope no one ate it before they got home!
